What do you get the theologian who has everything???? My Favourite Christmas Gift
What do you get a theologian, especially one with an odd sense of humour and who really doesn’t need anything. Well, my wife did it perfectly.
My personal hereos include people like Abraham Lincoln (and yes, I am one of those people who believe that during every conversation over 5 minutes someone thinks of Lincoln), John Calvin (though I am not a Calvinist, the Institutes of the Christian Religion is a great volume for faith and community), and thanks to both the movie Luther: The Movie (which is my all-time favourite movie) 
and the writings of the great 20th century Lutheran theologian (and subject of my doctoral thesis) Wolfhart Pannenberg, Martin Luther.
