The Must See Documentary on Global Warming

If you read my January and February Weekly Updates, you know that I am confirmed Man-Made Global Warming skeptic.  I am not scientist (though it has become a hobby), but I am a historian and as a theologian, have focused on complex systems.  I am firmly convinced that the Global Warming panic is really just the cause-de-jur for committed communists and anti-capitalists.

Of course, Al Gore made millions with his little slide show. He won an Oscar, and may well end up winning the Nobel Peace Prize (which after giving one to the near-Anti-Semite Jimmy Carter and the folks at the UN Atomic Energy Agency have proven the prize isn’t worth paying attention to anymore).  But the science isn’t there to support either his conclusions or the panic. But who am I?

So, I direct your attention to the BBC 4 documentary The Great Global Warming Swindle, which can be viewed on-line at:

With the BBC 4 website on it here:

If you are like me an a skeptic, watch it so you can share the facts with your friends. If you are believer in man-made Global Warming (and I do agree the earth is warming, just so you know), please watch it and think through the facts being shared and the quality of the scientist who are not aligned with the oil and gas industry, the pro-environment leader who disagree with Al Gore’s movie, and the huge implications this has for the world’s poor.

As a Christian I am appalled at how we have damaged our environment. I am a vegetarian, a composter, a recycler, a believe I have good enviro credentials.  But this is the worst thing that we are doing to the world’s poor since we banned DDT, causing the death of millions (yep, millions) to malaria.

Please watch and email me at to tell me your thoughts.
